The Deltin Casinos Stayers' Cup (Grade 1) will be won by 'Tiger Tops'

10 well bred thoroughbreds are competing in the 3000 metres Stayers' Cup (Grade 1) which will be run on Saturday, 28 February 2015. It is the 6th race in a card of 7 races and is to be run at 4.50 p.m. The prestigious Terms race is for Indian horses 4 years old and upward. Weights: 4 year olds 54Kg: 5 year olds & upwards 59Kg. ALLOWANCES: Fillies and Mares: 1.5Kg.
In my opinion, the brilliant 4 year old filly Tiger Tops who is endowed with tremendous stamina is an outstanding contender in this race and will win it with authority. Tiger Tops complete Bio-Data is given below which conspicuously shows that she has had a terrific Racing Career thus far and a superb Pedigree:
TIGER TOPS (Tiger Hill-Cockayne) 4yo bay filly trained by Pesi Shroff is a very classy, attractive and impeccably bred filly who has run 10 races, 1st - 6, 2nd – 1, 3rd - 1. She decisively won her maiden race as a 2yo over 1400m beating the favorite Top Commander. Her 2nd win was in the 1600m Forbes Breeders' Juvenile Fillies' Championship (Gr.3) which she stylishly won in a time of 1.36.02. She then went to Bangalore and ran The Fillies Championship Stakes (Gr.1) as the favorite but finished 6th, the race was won by stable mate Maisha by a widening 3-1/2 lengths. She then ran The Kingfisher Bangalore Derby (Gr.1) and finished 3rd to Be Safe & Culebra.
Tiger Tops then came to race in Pune where she won the 3rd race over a distance of 2000 meters in Class II. She then went to Kolkata for the Calcutta Monsoon Derby (Gr.3) which she won by 9-3/4 lengths against a poor opposition. She went on to win The Calcutta Oaks (Gr.3) and finished a close 2nd to Quasar in The Eveready Calcutta Derby (Gr.1).
On her return to Western India, she authoritatively won The Villoo Poonawalla Indian Oaks (Gr.1) and then a 2nd to Be Safe in The McDowell Signature Indian Derby (Gr.1).
Pondering over her highly exquisite pedigree, her sire 'Tiger Hill' has had 17 starts, 10 wins, 3 places with a superb Career Earning of Euros 1,087,995. His wins included Bavarian Classic (Gr.2), 2000M, Munich-Germany, Grosser Mueller Brot Preis (Gr.2), 2000M, Munich-Germany, 2000 Guineas (Gr.2) Koln-Germany, Grossen Preis Von Baden, 2400M (Gr.1), Baden Baden-Germany, Gerling Preis (Gr.2), 2400M, Koln-Germany, Bayerisches Zuchtrennen (Gr.1), 2000M, Munich-Germany and came 2nd in Grand Prix De-Saint-Cloud (Gr.1)-France.
Her dam 'Cockayne' won 4 races and placed 4 times with a Career Earnings of Euros 95, 881 which included Premio Andreo -2200M, Pisa (Italy) Listed and came 2nd in Premio Buontalenta -2000M Gr.3 (Italy).
Her dams' Tail-Line goes down to the likes of Mountain Lodge who had 5 wins, including The Irish St. Leger (Gr.1),
My Final Analysis: The impeccably bred Tiger Tops has amply proved that she is a stays well by winning The Indian Oaks (Gr.1) and finishing 2nd in The McDowell Signature Indian Derby (Gr.1). In my opinion, she will authoritatively win the prestigious race.
