DEM SAO (Bhawani Singh) refused to be stalled inspite of substantial efforts, as such, the mare was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Since DEM SAO had behaved in a similar manner in her previous start, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures and to show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race.

HURACAN (P. Trevor) was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Trainer Subhag Singh has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

At the start ROYCE (N. S. Parmar, dr.10) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.

Approaching 1200 metres, in an attempt to settle his mount, Jockey A. Sandesh (STAR ACE) shifted out and went across BLACK JAGUAR (Shrikant Kamble) who had to be steadied and thereafter continued outwards and made contact with OSCILLATION (App. S. A. Amit) forcing him outwards.

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (HURACAN) reported that upon passing 400 metres, in an attempt to change his whip hand, his reins had slipped out of his hands. The same was borne out from the CCTV footage of the race and Jockey P. Trevor has been asked to be more careful in the future.

After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (ROYCE) reported that his mount hung out in the initial stages of the race. Trainer A. M. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

An objection was lodged by App. S. A. Amit, the rider of OSCILLATION (Placed Third) against STAR ACE (A. Sandesh, Placed Second). The reason being, near the first bend, STAR ACE (A. Sandesh) who was racing along the rails, shifted out and bumped his horse severely whereby he lost considerable ground and thereafter, from the last position his horse covered ground in the straight and in his opinion the above incident had cost him the race.

After considering the submissions made by the Jockeys concerned, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over-rule the objection.
