Avenue that usually reverberates with the rhythmic beats of hooves galloping over the tracks will be engulfed with a different sort of melody this weekend. Symphony Orchestra of India (SOI) supported by Gitanjali Lifestyle will perform at the Mahalaxmi Race Course.

The Orchestra will features 65 musicians from Kazakhistan, Uzbekistan, Belarussia, Poland, Ukraine, UK and Germany besides India and will be conducted by the well known Marat Bisengalier. The evening will also see Kailash Kher perform for the first time wit SOI.

Says Vivek Jain, Chairman, RWITC, “It is an honour for us to host such a prestigious event with the Symphony Orchestra of India. Being a heritage site of Mumbai, an event like this lends itself beautifully to our lawns and we were happy to give music connoisseurs of Mumbai such an opportunity.”
