RAILS WERE PLACED 2 METRES AWAY
FROM ITS ORIGINAL POINT FROM 1400 METRES (MILE CHUTE) LEADING TO 4 METRES AWAY
AT 1200 METRES, 6 METRES AWAY AT 1000 METRES, 8 METRES AWAY AT 800 METRES AND
THEREAFTER 10 METRES AWAY UP TO THE WINNING POST. FOR THE RACES STARTING
FROM THE BACK STRETCH, RAILS WERE PLACED 3 METRES AWAY FROM ITS ORIGINAL POINT
FROM 1400 METRES LEADING TO 6 METRES AWAY AT 1000 METRES.
On
a request from Trainer B. Prakash, permission was granted to Trainer
Sangramsinh N. Joshi to saddle his charge BLAZE THE TRACK in the 5th
race, at his (Trainer B. Prakash’s) risk and responsibility.

STRANGER PLATE:

CLOUDBURST
(Bhawani Singh) jumped out slow, losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer
Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show
him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next
accepting to race.
At the start, OH SO HOT (J. Chinoy,
dr.7) jumped outwards on to WE BREAK THE RULES (Suraj Narredu, dr.8).
Soon after the start, MY PRECIOUS (P.
S. Chouhan) shifted in towards the rails thereby inconveniencing WILDCARD
WARRIOR (App. S. A. Amit). Jockey P. S. Chouhan has been cautioned.
Soon after the start, Jockey Suraj
Narredu (WE BREAK THE RULES) shifted in thereby tightening OH SO HOT (J.
Chinoy) and SAMARJEET (Dashrath Singh) who had to be checked. Jockey Suraj
Narredu has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
After the race Jockey P. Trevor
(GLORIOSUS) reported that his mount hung in throughout the race. Trainer Imtiaz
A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race
the colt.
After
the race, GLORIOSUS and WE BREAK THE RULES were trotted and found to be sound.

PICASSO PLATE:

After
being stalled, ETERNAL SUNSHINE (A. Sandesh) kicked the rear gate. The filly
was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified her fit to race.
After
being stalled, Jockey J. Chinoy (STREETJAMMER) informed that one of his stirrup
leather buckle had come out and the same was fixed by him.
Immediately after the start, ETERNAL
SUNSHINE (A. Sandesh, dr.3) veered outwards and cut across the field and bumped
MOUNTBATTEN (App. Vishal N. Bunde) unbalancing the latter. On being questioned
after the race, Jockey A. Sandesh stated that his mount had veered out despite
his efforts. Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been asked to take remedial measures
before next accepting to race the filly.
Passing 1200 metres, NIFTY (N. S.
Parmar) shifted out and carried MEKONG DELTA (Neeraj Rawal) outwards.
After the race, App. Vishal N. Bunde
(MOUNTBATTEN) reported that his mount hung out in the straight. Trainer M. K.
Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race
the gelding.
An enquiry has been initiated into the
running and riding of ETERNAL SUNSHINE and a report will be submitted shortly.
After
the race, MOUNTBATTEN and ETERNAL SUNSHINE were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.3(206) – THE NADIA MARY HOMI WADIATROPHY: (About) 1000 Metres – Runners

HIGHLAND
WOODS (P. S. Chouhan) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer Nazak
Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures. Further, on arrival at the
start, HIGHLAND WOODS was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was certified fit
to race.
KRAMER
(P. Trevor) was reluctant to be stalled and thereafter was restless in the
stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked
to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the
Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Soon after the start, YUTAKA (Vikram
Jodha) leaned inwards on to HIGHLAND WOODS (P. S. Chouhan).
Passing 900 metres, Jockey C. S. Jodha
(LADY SERGEANT) shifted in thereby tightening YUTAKA (Vikram Jodha) who had to
be checked. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been fined Rs.1,000/-.
After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar
(PANDEMONIUM) reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the
race and in his effort to correct his mount, the filly had shied in

(KRAMER) reported that approaching 200 metres his mount had clenched its bit on
one side and drifted out despite his efforts. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked
to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
After the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu
(ICE DANCER) reported that his mount hung out in the straight.
After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh
(NEXTSTAR) reported that his mount was running green.
After
the race, KRAMER and LADY SERGEANT were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.4(207) – THE D.P.C.KAPADIA TROPHY: (About) 1600 Mtrs – Runners -

GODSENT
(Bhawani Singh) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has
been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the
satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting
to race.
At the start, GODSENT (Bhawani Singh,
dr. 1) jumped out marginally slow and thereafter veered outwards and had to be
steadied. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures
before next accepting to race the gelding.
Passing 400 metres, CRYSTAL BALL (S.
K. Jadhav) shifted in thereby tightening DROGO (P. Trevor) along the rails.
Thereafter, CRYSTAL BALL shifted out and made contact with GRAPPA (App. Vishal
N. Bunde) who had to be steadied. Jockey S. K. Jadhav has been cautioned.
After the race, Jockey P. Trevor
(DROGO) reported that he was denied a clear run in the straight as there was a
wall of horses in front.
After
the race, GREGORIAN CHANTS, DROGO and CRYSTAL BALL (examined on 10/03/2017)
were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.5(208)–THE FLAREON PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1000 Metres – Runners

On
arrival at the start, BLAZE THE TRACK was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and
was found to be sore by the left fore leg. As such, the filly was certified
unfit to race and was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. The
filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
On
arrival at the start, JORDEN PRINCE and BE COOL were examined by the Club’s Sr.
V.O. and were certified fit to race.
After
being stalled, RICARDUS (C. S. Jodha) was restless in the stall and not
allowing the rider to settle. Since the colt had behaved in a similar manner in
its previous start, Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to take remedial
measures and to show the colt to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock
Race, before next accepting with him to race.
At the start, HORSE POWER (Sandeep
Jadhav, dr.4) jumped outwards and at the same time AMAZON CAT (N. S. Parmar,
dr.6) jumped inwards thereby tightening MAKE IT SHINE (S. G. Prasad, dr.5).
At the start, SMART CHOICE (App. S. A.
Amit, dr. 7) jumped inwards onto AMAZON CAT (N. S. Parmar, dr. 6).
At the start, MILWALKEE (App. H.
Zeeshan, dr.8) jumped outwards thereby tightening GOLDEN GLORY (App. D. R.
Shubham, dr. 9) who had to be checked.
Approaching 850 metres, KNIGHT AT ARMS
(Dashrath Singh) shifted in thereby tightening the field on his inside, due to
which RICH N RARE (N. B. Kuldeep) had to be checked. Jockey Dasharath Singh has
been cautioned.
Approaching 150 metres, KNIGHT AT ARMS
(Dashrath Singh) shifted out under pressure and in the final stages shied
outwards on to AMAZON CAT (N. S. Parmar), who in turn shifted out
inconveniencing MILWALKEE (App. H. Zeeshan).
Jockey N. S. Parmar (AMAZON CAT) was
observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
This being his second offence during the current meeting, Jockey N. S. Parmar
has been fined Rs. 5,000/-.
After
the race, RICARDUS, RICH N RARE and BE COOL were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.6(209) – THE DR.A.H.SAYED PLATE:(About) 1200 Metres – Runners

Trainer C. D. Katrak
has been fined Rs.1,000/- for accepting with his charge PRISTINA in this race
while the filly was on Veterinary Ban. The mare was struck out at the
Acceptance stage.
FORTUNA
(Akshay Gaikwad) planted and took no part in the race. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has
been asked to give the mare more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction
of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
ANGEL
OF LOVE (App. H. Zeeshan) jumped out slow, losing about 3 lengths at the start.
At the start, SAMURAI (S. Joseph, dr.
3) jumped outwards and made contact with AME (App. Vishal N. Bunde, dr. 4).
Soon after the start, MIDNIGHT ROMANCE
(Altaf Sayyed) shifted out at the same time MASTER OF TRINITY (Neeraj Rawal)
shifted in thereby inconveniencing BULLION EXPRESS (App. Raghuveer Singh).
Passing 1000 metres, PADMAKOSA
(Bhawani Singh) shifted in thereby tightening BULLION EXPRESS (App. Raghuveer
Singh) and ANGEL OF LOVE (App. H. Zeeshan). Both had to be steadied.
Jockey Bhawani Singh has been cautioned.
Passing 700 metres, WAY AHEAD (App. D.
R. Shubham) shifted out and went across GRANDE VITESSE (J. Chinoy) who had to
be steadied. App. D. R. Shubham has been cautioned.
Passing 400 metres, GRANDE VITESSE (J.
Chinoy) shifted out and went across ZOOM ZOOM (A. Sandesh). Thereafter, WAY
AHEAD (App. D. R. Shubham) shifted in due to which ZOOM ZOOM (A. Sandesh) had
to check and change course and in the process shifted out on to AINRA (N. S.
Parmar) who had to be steadied.
After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal
(MASTER OF TRINITY) reported that he was denied a clear run in the straight as
there was a wall of horses in front.
After
the race, ZOOM ZOOM and MIDNIGHT ROMANCE were trotted and found to be sound.
ZOOM ZOOM had a clip injury at the left hind leg
RACE NO.7(210) –THE SIX SPEED PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners

GOLDEN
ECLIPSE (Neeraj Rawal) jumped out slow, losing about 3 lengths at the start.
Soon after the start ROSELLA (G. Amit)
shifted in inconveniencing JUDICIOUS (D. R. Shubham)
Approaching 800 metres, JUDICIOUS
(App. D. R. Shubham) shifted in thereby tightening LADISLAUS (P. Trevor) along
the rails forcing him to check and drop back. Apprentice D. R. Shubham has been
suspended for two race days i.e. on 25th & 26th
March, 2017 for careless riding.
Passing 700 metres, FLASHY WINGS (P.
S. Chouhan) shifted in and went across JUDICIOUS (App. D. R. Shubham) forcing
him to check and change course thereby inconveniencing ROSELLA (G. Amit) who
had to be steadied jockey P. S. Chouhan has been cautioned.
RACE NO.8(211) –THE FLAREON PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1000 Metres – Runners

On reaching the gates Jockey C. S.
Jodha (FOREVER YOURS) pointed out that the bit was displaced. On closer
examination it was found that the bridle on the left cheek was twisted the same
was corrected before the race. In this connection Trainer Subhag Singh has been
fined Rs.1,000/-.
Soon after the start, REALITY (N. B.
Kuldeep) shifted in and went across ROYCE (A. Sandesh) who had to be steadied.
Passing 900 metres, HIGHLAND PRINCESS
(Akshay Gaikwad) shifted in forcing KING OF KILLEN (Dashrath Singh) inwards on
to ROYCE (A. Sandesh) who had to be steadied. Jockey Akshay Gaikwad has been
fined Rs.2,000/-
Passing the 700 metres, APPLE BETTY
(Bhawani Singh) veered outwards thereby inconveniencing ZION (Nirmal Jodha) who
had to be steadied.
After the race, Jockey S. Sunil
(DIVINE ANGEL) reported that he lost his whip at about 100 metres. The
Stipendiary Stewards will be looking into the incident and a report will be
submitted shortly.
Jockey Akshay Gaikwad (HIGHLAND
PRINCESS) has been fined Rs. 3,000/- for having used the whip in excess of the
prescribed limit on his mount.
After the race, ZION was found to be sore by the right hind leg. The
mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
After
the race, SUPER ICON, APPLE BETTY and ROYCE were trotted and found to be sound.

of the 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th race,
viz. KRAMER, SEACRETS, LADISLAUS and FOREVER YOURS, and the special sample of
DROGO (4th race) and MASTER OF TRINITY (6th race), were
collected for detection of prohibited substance.
