RACE NO.1(179) - THE
ARTOIS PLATE (DIV.II):
(About) 1400 Metres - 9 Runners
Trainer
Sanjay Kolse has been fined Rs.5,000/-
for failing to declare his charge JULIANO in this race after having accepted
with him.
FROSTED (Raghuveer
Singh) took a fly jump. ISINIT (K. Nazil)
jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Passing the 1200 metres,
LILAC TIME (Dashrath Singh) shifted in tightening
CENTAURUS (App. M. Ayyar) along the rails who had to be checked thereby dropping back and
inconveniencing SHIVALIK SKIES (Amyn Merchant).
Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.
After
the race, TAKE FIVE was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind cannon.
LILAC TIME was found to be sound in the trot.
RACE NO.2(180) - THE
NITROUS PLATE:
(About) 2000 Metres - 8 Runners
GLORIOUS EYES (C. S. Jodha) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Passing the 600 metres,
Jockey Neeraj Rawal (ZENON)
shifted out thereby tightening GLORIOUS OPINION (Amyn
Merchant) and inconveniencing JAGER BOMB (J. Chinoy).
Jockey Neeraj Rawal has
been fined Rs.2,000/-.
RACE NO.3(181) – THE RED
DRAGON PLATE (DIV.II):
(About) 1000 Metres - 16 Runners
Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been fined Rs.1,000/-
for accepting with his charge JULIANO in two races on the same day. As per
the General Conditions published in the Prospectus, the horse was struck out
from this race and accepted to run in THE ARTOIS
PLATE.
ARC OF PASSION (Bhawani
Singh) jumped out slow losing about 3 lengths at the start.
At the start, OLIVIA KASPEN (Nirmal Jodha, dr. 5) jumped
outwards on to SARRAZIN (Amyn Merchant, dr. 6).
After
the race, PROMINENCE was observed to have an abrasion at the left hind pastern
and ALFONSO had a gum injury.
RACE NO.4(182) – THE
GENERAL RAJENDRASINHJI MILLION:
(About) 1600 Metres - 5 Runners
At the start, BATELEUR (A. Imran Khan, dr. 1) jumped outwards on to GALLANT KNIGHT (Y.
S. Srinath, dr. 2).
Passing the 300 metres,
Jockey A. Imran Khan (BATELEUR) was observed to have
lost his whip. This being his first offence, no action has been initiated.
ORION’S
BELT (J. Chinoy) was placed fifth by the Judge, in
this race.
RACE NO.5(183) – THE
MAYOR BABURAO SANAS MEMORIAL MILLION powered by SRS Group: (About) 1000 Metres - 4 Runners
Soon after the start, DESERT PRIDE (Suraj Narredu) shifted in under
urgings thereby tightening ICONIA (Neeraj Rawal) and ART MANOEUVRE (Dashrath
Singh). After the race, on questioning, Jockey Suraj Narredu stated that being the first run of the filly she
was green and was lugging in throughout the race.
After the race, ART MANOEUVRE was
observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated
ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O.
before next accepting to race.
RACE NO.6(184) – THE
DELHI RACE CLUB TROPHY:
(About) 1200 Metres - 10 Runners
The
Sr. V.O. reported that it was observed in the Saddling Area that the right hind
plate on DEEP DIVER was splayed and the gelding was sore by the right hind leg.
As such, DEEP DIVER was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary
grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next
accepting to race.
REMEMBER ME (App. S. A. Amit) SUPER SUNSHINE (Bhawani
Singh) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths and 3 lengths respectively.
Soon after the start, NASCAR (App. Raghuveer Singh) shifted in and went across ABBEY (Suraj Narredu) forcing the latter
to check and shift out thereby inconveniencing LADISLAUS (Neeraj
Rawal) and BRYNHILL (App. Santosh
G.). Apprentice Raghuveer Singh has been cautioned.
Passing the 900 metres,
BRYNHILL (App. Santosh G.) shifted in inconveniencing
UNDISPUTED (Dashrath Singh) and CHAMPAGNE (P. S. Chouhan) respectively.
Passing the 300 metres,
BRYNHILL (App. Santosh G.) shifted in thereby
tightening UNDISPUTED (Dashrath Singh) who had to be
checked. Thereafter, BRYNHILL (App. Santosh G.)
further shifted in thereby inconveniencing LADISLAUS (Neeraj
Rawal). After the race, on questioning, Jockey Santosh G. stated that his mount hung in despite his
efforts. He further added that the gelding has a tendency to hang-in, in view
of this Trainer Nazak Chenoy
has been asked to show her charge in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the
Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.
The
Sr. V.O. reported that BRYNHILL was examined at the stables in the morning on
29/10/2017 and was found to be sound in the trot.
RACE NO.7(185) – THE
ARTOIS PLATE (DIV.I):
(About) 1400 Metres– 11 Runners
KOAL (App. S. A. Amit)
planted in the stall and took no part in the race. In view of above and a similar
behavior of the mare in her last run, Trainer Adhirajsingh
Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures and to
show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next
accepting to race.
AEOLIUS MAXIMUS (J. Chinoy) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the
start.
At the start, BIDSTONE HILL (S. S. Baria, dr. 11) jumped and shifted out and had to be
steadied.
Passing the 1000 metres,
MARVEL (App. R. Ajinkya), SUMAAQ (C. S. Jodha) and AQUARIUS (App. S. Joseph) were inconvenienced
due to a tightly packed field.
Passing the 300 metres,
WIND CRAFT (Bhawani Singh) shifted in tightening
DIVINE MAGIC (Y. S. Srinath) along the rails, forcing
the latter to be checked. After the race, on questioning, Jockey Bhawani Singh stated that his mount shied inwards due to
the close proximity of TIMLESS DEEDS (T. S. Jodha).
Trainer Sangramsinh N. Joshi has been asked to take
remedial measures.
After
the race, WIND CRAFT and BIDSTONE HILL (examined on 29/10/2017) were trotted and
found to be sound.
RACE NO.8(186) - THE
GOLFING PLATE:
(About) 1400 Metres - 12 Runners
After being stalled, CLOUDBURST (Raghuveer Singh) and MAN OF WORD (A. Imran
Khan) were restless in the stall and not allowing their riders to settle.
Trainers Narendra Lagad and
S. K. Sunderji have been asked to give their
respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the
Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
CLOUDBURST (A. Imran
Khan) and IN VINO VERITAS (S. Jaykumar) jumped out
slow losing about 2 lengths each at the start.
At the start COSA NOSTRA (Bhawani Singh, dr.4) jumped inwards on to MAN OF WORD (A. Imran Khan, dr.3)
An inquiry has been initiated into the
improved performance of COSA NOSTRA (Bhawani Singh)
and a report will be submitted shortly.
After
the race, SANDALPHON and STAR OF THEA were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.9(187) - THE RED
DRAGON PLATE (DIV.I):
(About) 1000 Metres - 17 Runners
COMMANDPERFORMANCE (SandeepJadhav) jumped out slow losing about 5 lengths at
the start. Trainer Dallas Todywall has been asked to
give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the
Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start OUTSTANDING (A. Imran Khan, dr.11) jumped outwards on to ALYATIES (P. S. Chouhan, dr.12)
Soon after the start, ADAM’S CREATION
(Satish Nayak) shifted in
and made contact with MAGICAL SCRIPT (J. Chinoy)
thereafter BEE QUIRKY (App. M. Ayyar) shifted in
under urgings thereby bumping ADAM’S CREATION (Satish
Nayak) who in turn shifted in and made contact with
MAGICAL SCRIPT (J. Chinoy). Apprentice M. Ayyar has been cautioned.
Soon after the start, OUTSTANDING (A. Imran Khan) shifted in thereby starting a chain reaction
due to which MOIRA (App. S. A. Amit), ADELE (Santosh. G) and HIGHLAND PRINCESS
(App. Raghuveer Singh) were tightened and had to be
checked. Jockey A. Imran Khan has been fined Rs.
2,000/-.
Passing the 800 metres,
WHOOPSIDAISY (F. Irani) shifted out thereby
inconveniencing MAKE IT SHINE (C. S. Jodha) and ROYAL
EYES (App. Raj Pawar). Jockey F. Irani
has been cautioned.

urine samples of the winner of the 2nd, 4th, 5th,
6th and 7th race, viz. ZENON, BATELEUR, DESERT PRIDE,

ADDITIONAL REPORT:
RE: ENQUIRY INTO A COMPLAINT
MADE AGAINST APP. K. NAZIL BY TRAINER HOSIDAR DAJI
On a complaint received from
Trainer Hosidar Daji
against App. K. Nazil regarding irregularity and indiscipline
at work, an enquiry was held into the same. After having questioned App. K. Nazil, the Stipendiary Stewards were not satisfied with the
explanation tendered. Taking into account that this is not the first such
complaint made against App. K. Nazil, and also that
he has been warned against such behavior on several occasions, his Apprentice
Jockey’s license has been suspended for two race days i.e. from 19th
November, 2017 to 24th November, 2017 (both days inclusive).
