On a request from
Trainer Faisal A Abbas, permission was granted to Trainer Altamash A Ahmed to
saddle his charge MUBARRAS in the 7th race, at his (Trainer Faisal
A Abbas’) risk and responsibility. |

At the
request of Tr.Faisal A.Abbas, HIDDEN DRAGON was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O
at 1125 hours on 22/08/08 and found to go short by the right fore leg, as
such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on
veterinary grounds. The gelding has
to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. |

MASTER CRAFT (R.Biramne)
took a fly jump, losing about a length at the start. |

Approaching
the 1000 metres, HONEYDAY (T.S.Jodha) was tightened for room and received
interference when BORN TO LEAD (S.N.Chavan) shifted in due to ROMAN BEAUTY
(K.P.G.Appu) shifting in. Jockey K.P.G.Appu has been fined Rs.3000/- for
failing to exercise proper control over his mount. |

A.M.Tograllu (HITZ) has been cautioned for using his whip with the right hand
thereby allowing his mount to travel wide while negotiating the bend and in
the process inconveniencing RED DAWN (Samuel Fargeat) on his outside. |

GOLDEN GRACE
(K.P.G.Appu) ran green throughout the race and ran erratic in the final
stages of the race. |

The
Sr.V.O reported that RED CHILI was examined after the race and found to be
sound. The filly had wolf tooth on either side of her mouth. After the race
GOLDEN GRACE was observed to have an abrasion on her right hind fetlock. |

At the start, THE REBEL
(Neeral Rawal, dr. 6) jumped out awkwardly outward due to which MADAMME
BIJOUX (App NS Parmar, dr. 7) shifted out and at the same time PERSONAL POINT
(YS Srinath, dr. 9) jumped awkwardly inward. This movement of MADAMME BIJOUX
and PERSONAL POINT resulted in the ground of KING OF THE RING (App AM
Tograllu, dr.8) being taken, who himself was slo0w to begin. |

MR GREEDY (Vikram Walkar) lugged out throughout the
race. Trainer M.K.Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next
accepting with his charge to race. |

Trainer Karthik G. was
questioned regarding the drift in odds and the poor performance of his charge
PERSONAL POINT. Trainer Karthik G. stated that he had given his charge a
fighting chance as his earlier run was not very impressive. He further added
that the filly has been working well in the morning trials and has never
shown any signs of abnormality. With respect to the drift in odds, he said
that it was beyond his control. The explanation tendered by the trainer has
been noted. |

After
the race PERSONAL POINT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not
to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit
by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. |

that KATANIA was examined after the race and found to be sound. The filly had
wolf tooth on either side of her mouth. |

request of Tr.Asad Siddiqui, CALYPSO QUEEN was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O.
at 1115 hours on 22/08/08 and found to be sore by the left fore leg, as such, the filly was certified unfit to
race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next
accepting to race. |

Trainer Altamash A.Ahmed
requested permission for withdrawal of his charge KAPATHOS after the
declaration stage on the ground of late realization of the medication given
to the horse. The said permission was granted and Trainer Altamash A.Ahmed
was fined Rs.15,000/- for his lapse. |

KNIGHTS TEMPLAR (Satish
Nayak) was slow in the stride, losing about 2 lengths at the start. |

FORTUNE) reported that his mount hung out during the race. Trainer Magansingh
P. Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to

FANTASTIC FURY (Neeraj Rawal) was inconvenienced when ROCOCO (K.P.G.Appu)

request of Tr.Altaf Hussain, RISING EMPEROR was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O
at 1030 hours on the race day (23/08/2008) and found to have a painful
swelling of the left hind fetlock and shank, as such, the gelding was
certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. |

The saddle on SAARAH
(S.S.Rathore) slipped back during the race. Trainer Jayantilal K.Gor has been
fined Rs.2000/- for faulty saddling of his charge. |

Soon after entering the
straight, SAARAH (S.S.Rathore, dr.8) shifted out and hampered the running of
CHARLIE PARKER (App Ishwar Pardeshi, dr.9). Since saddle slip was reported by
Jockey S.S. Rathore (SAARAH), no action has been taken against him. |
