RACE DAY REPORTS

False Rails were placed from 1000 Meters till the Winning Post Width about 2 Metres. False Rails were placed from 1200 Metres chute – Width about 8 Metres – reducing to 5 Metres wide at 1000 Metres. False Rails were also placed from 2000 Metres. till 1600 Metres. width about 4 Metres.

 

On a request from Tr. Faisal A Abbas permission was granted to Tr. Altamash Ahmed to saddle his charges ZUETINA (4th race), SALTORO & THE GIANT (5th race) and LAGO MEDIO (6th race) at his (Tr. Faisal A Abbas’s) risk and responsibility.

 

RACE NO.1 - (56) THE SEVERRIANO PLATE:  (About)  2000 Metres.   – Runners - 6

 

Trainer Uday Bhan Singh has been fined Rs.3000/- for late submission of the Declaration form in respect of his charge ORIENTAL JEWEL.

 

Jockey Hanumant Singh (ORIENTAL JEWEL) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.

The Sr.V.O. reported that JOHNNY BRAVO was examined after the race and found to be sound. The gelding had a wolf tooth on the right side.

 

After the race PASSION INTHE PARK was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

RACE NO.2 (57) - THE BEYOND EXPECTATION PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres.   – Runners- 7

 

EXOTIC STAR (Suraj Narredu) lugged-in in the straight. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

Jockey Sunny Chinoy (ONUS PROBANDI) has been severely reprimanded for repeatedly looking back in the final furlong.

When questioned, Jockey Suraj Narredu (EXOTIC STAR) stated that he was instructed to go to front or be in 2nd position. Since he had a horse in front of him, he chose to sit in second position. He added that the horse traveled well till the final bend and thereafter the horse dropped the bit and was uninterested in the race. The horse was lugging-in in the straight. He informed that he has advised the Trainer to use a Tongue Strap instead of the Cross Nose band. On a request, EXOTIC STAR was examined by the Sr. VO who reported that no abnormality was detected.

The Sr.V.O. reported that ADJUSTMENT was examined after the race and found to be sound. The gelding had wolf teeth on both sides of his mouth.

 

RACE NO.3 (58) - THE REGAL EQUITY PLATE: (About) 1600 Metres.   – Runners - 7

 

Trainer Jayantilal K Gor has been fined Rs.3000/- for late submission of the Declaration form in respect of his charge TOMMY CARMICHAEL.

After the race SPIRITED STAR was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

RACE NO.4 (59) - THE MENORAH TROPHY: (About) 1400 Metres. – Runners – 8

 

Passing 800 meters, GENGIS KHAN (P Belose) shifted in when not sufficiently clear and took the running of VICEROY (S.P.Ranjane) who was checked by its Rider and lost position and in doing so hampered the running of ZUETINA (Amyn Merchant). Jockey P Belose has been fined Rs.3000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

 

Jockey C.S.Jodha (FIREY FUTURE) has been fined 3000/- for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.

Jockey Anil Bandaal (SOLSKJAER) reported loss of whip at about 400 metres from the winning post. The Jockey explained that his whip made contact with ALEXA (Nirmal Jodha) who was racing on the outside of SOLSKJAER and that was the reason for the loss of the whip. Further, the surcingle on SOLSKJAER was found in unserviceable condition, as such, Trainer Amjad Khan has been fined Rs.1000/-.

After the race MUSTANG SALLY was observed to have an abrasion on her left hind coronet.

 

RACE NO.5 (60) - THE STARFIRE BOY TROPHY:  (About) 1400 Metres.   – Runners - 12

 

STAR LUXURIOUS (Y.S.Srinath) was reluctant to be stalled. Tr.Karthik G. has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race. BARBARA (Aadesh Kumar) took a fly jump.

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that BARBARA was examined after the race and found to be sound. The filly had a gum injury.

RACE NO.6 (61) - THE PRA SPRINT STAKES: (About)  1200 Metres.   – Runners - 9

 

After the race AVEC PLAISIR was observed to have an abrasion on the right fore coronet and right hind bulb of heel and CAIRNDHU had a gum injury.

RACE NO.7 (62) - THE TIMELESS BEAUTY PLATE:  (About) 1400 Metres.- Runners - 11

 

Trainer Uday Bhan Singh has been fined Rs.3000/- for late submission of the Declaration form in respect of his charge ROCOCO.

 

After the race ROCOCO was observed to have a gum injury.

RACE NO.8 (63) - THE CLASSIC TALK PLATE:  (About) 1200 Metres.   – Runners - 10

 

Trainer Anil Kumar as been fined Rs.1000/- for presenting his charge, DIPLOMATIC LICENCE, without the declared bit. The bit was changed and the horse ran with the declared bit i.e. snaffle.

The post race urine sample of the winner of the 2nd, 7th & 8th race viz. ONUS PROBANDI, CALL TO ARMS & AMBEROGIO and also that of PASSION INTHE PARK (1st race), EXOTIC STAR & ADJUSTMENT (2nd race) and SPIRITED STAR (3rd race),  were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
