(TRACK: MONSOON: GOING GOOD) (PENETROMETRE :2 new – 4.4 old)

(FALSE RAILS WERE PLACED 8 METERS WIDE FROM 1200 METRES CHUTE TILL 1000 METRES.) (THE STARTING GATES WERE POSITIONED AT THE MARKER FOR THE START OF EACH RACE AS MEASURED BY A ROADOMETER). FOR THE RACES RUN OVER 1200 METERS, THE STARTING GATES WERE PLACED AT 1170 METERS.

RACE NO.86- THE DARCY DANCER PLATE - (About) 1400 Metres. (12 RUNNERS)

Trainer Janardhan has been fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to inform regarding the use of Pacifiers on his charge SUMMEROFFORTYTWO (Abhishek Habbu). The horse raced with Pacifiers.

Near 400 mts. OPIUM (Jockey S. P. Ranjane) shifted out and interfered with RUSHING RIVER (Vikram Walkar). Jockey S. P. Ranjane has been fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

After the race, FIRE ALARM was found to have an abrasion on right hind fetlock.

After the race, it was observed that JOSH KING had broken a blood vessel. The gelding has been stopped from racing for a stipulated period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

RACE NO.87- THE GLASNOST PLATE - (About)1000 Metres. (18 RUNNERS)

TRACY (I. Shaikh) was slow in the stride losing about 6 lengths at the start, since the filly had behaved in a similar manner in her last run. Trainer M.K. Jadhav has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter in a mock race before accepting with her to race.

Jockey S. K. Jadhav (KNIGHT MOVES) has been fined Rs.1,000/- for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount in the straight (12 times).

RACE NO.88 - THE THUNDER STORM TROPHY- (About) 1600 Metres. (13 RUNNERS)

ORIENTAL EXPRESS (Malcolm Kharadi) was very reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show to the satisfaction of the Starter, at the morning starting trials, before next accepting with him to race.

Near 800 mts. ORIENTAL EXPRESS (Malcolm Kharadi) shifted in slightly and inconvenienced GENEROUS GREY (Neeraj Rawal). Jockey Malcolm Kharadi has been severely reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

After passing 800 mts. COLOUR BEARER (M. A. Gallagher) shifted out thereby forcing his passage when there was insufficient room and interfered with SULEMAN PASHA (L. Prashant). Jockey M. A. Gallagher has been fined Rs.3000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

RACE NO.89 - THE SOUTHERN COMMAND GOLD TROPHY (GR.3) - (About) 1600 Metres. (9 RUNNERS) :

RACE NO.90 - THE REPRINT TROPHY - (About) 2000 Metres. (10 RUNNERS)

Near 700 mts. MAGIC TOUCH (P.S. Chouhan) shifted in and caused interference to PLEASURE PALACE (Imran Chisty) who dropped back and hampered the running of ALL THE GO (Abhishek Habbu). Jockey P. S. Chouhan has been fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

RACE NO.91- THE SIR BRUCE TROPHY - (About) 1200 Metres. (12 RUNNERS)

Jockey S.S. Baria was declared to ride on two horses, THE SPIDERMAN & SAARAH, by Trainers Asad Siddiqui and Jayantilal K. Gor respectively. After questioning both the Trainers and Jockey S.S. Baria, Tr. Asad Siddiqui was permitted to declare Jockey S.S. Baria on THE SPIDERMAN and Tr. Jayantilal K. Gor declared Jockey I. Shaikh on SAARAH. Jockey S.S.Baria was fined Rs.1,000/- for accepting two rides in the same race.

Soon after the start, GENERALISSIMO (Sunny Chinoy – dr.10) shifted in and after traveling some distance further shifted in and caused interference and forced PREMIER PAGEANT (P.S. Chouhan) to shift in and cause interference to GLORY (M.A. Gallagher), along the inner rails. Jockey Sunny Chinoy has been fined Rs.2,000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

Trainer Jayantilal K. Gor has been fined Rs.500/- for running his charge SECURITY (Amyn Merchant) in colours other than those registered.

RACE NO.92 - THE IMPERIAL HERITAGE PLATE - (About) 1000 Metres. (16 RUNNERS)

The Sr. V.O, reported that, at the request of Trainer Hosidar Daji, ADRENALINE RUSH was examined at 10.00 a.m. on 10^th Sept. 2005 and found to be sore by right fore leg, as such the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to withdraw from the race on the veterinary ground. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting him to race.

FLYMETOTHESTARS (P. Belose) after being stalled played up in its stall thereby injuring the rider. Jockey P. Belose was unable to ride, as such the horse was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order.

Soon after the Start, SHARP SWORD (D.G. Shankar, dr. 15) shifted in and bumped TRIBAL WARRIOR (V Kotwal, dr. 13). Jockey D.G. Shankar has been fined Rs.1000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

Near 800 metes, SWIFT SWORD (Vikram Walkar) shifted in slightly which resulted in ENIGMA (YS Faizan) to shift in cause interference to AEROBIC’S (S.P. Ranjane). Jockey Vikram Walkar has been fined Rs.1000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

Approaching 600 metes, SOLICITO (S. Bhadke) received interference when ENIGMA (Y.S. Faizan) and MAGIC HONEY (Sunny Chinoy) converged on him. Both the Jockeys Sunny Chinoy & Y.S. Faizan, have been fined Rs.1000/- each for failing to exercise proper control over their respective mounts.

Near 200 meters, LAMPLIGHT (P Sandeep) had to by checked off the heels of MAGIC HONEY (Sunny Chinoy). Jockey Sunny Chinoy has been cautioned to be sufficiently clear off the horses behind him while changing course.

After the race, MAGIC HONEY was found to have an abrasion on right hind heel.

Samples of urine of the winners of the races 1^st, 2^nd, 5^th, and 9^th viz. GREAT ALLIANCE, TE QUIERO, RAPIER, and SWIFT SWORD respectively and that of MAGICAL SUNSET & HAWKE BAY (5^th race )were sent for analysis.
